What’s new in Tagbox / crop & export images
This month's update is all about saving time and enhancing your workflows
We're here to save you time and make work easy. That's true for finding assets, but also for the rest of your workflow.
With our current release, we can save you a few steps in cropping and optimizing your assets to be used on your site, or to post on social media.
Here are the deets:
Image export
Finding the right asset quickly is an important step, but often it's just the first, and the image still needs to be edited before it can be used.
While we're not looking to replace your Adobe suite anytime soon, sometimes you just need to make a quick cropping or resizing, and many of you asked if you could do that from within Tagbox.io, instead of downloading and taking it to some other website.
Starting today, you can crop, resize and reformat your images. Just open an image and hit the "Export" tab. We've also added a quick file size preview, so you can make sure the file is just as large or just as small as you need it to be.
A few more improvements
- Search for collections: if you have dozens of collections, finding them just got easier. In the collections screen, just search and click "Enter" to filter your collections by name.
- Browser tab name: if you're like us, you probably work with too many tabs. Now with the tab being named properly after your workspace, you can get back to Tagboxing in no time.
- Improved support for transparent SVG: transparent SVGs join their PNG friends, and now look a whole lot better on the platform. Another step in our journey to support all formats known to man.
