At Tagbox.io, your data is exactly that—yours. We never use it for anything beyond its intended purpose, and you remain in full control at all times.
We’re committed to providing best-in-class infrastructure, ensuring your media is safe and secure. Our team includes highly experienced developers to make sure we meet the highest standards, giving you complete peace of mind when it comes to the safety of your assets.
All assets are stored in a read-only AWS S3 storage, located in Ireland. The data is backed up daily with AWS backup, with backups stored for up to 60 days. Our DB (MongoDB) is located in Frankfurt. The data is backed up every 6 hours and stored for 1 year.
Only you and a small number of authorized Tagbox.io personnel can access your data. Any Tagbox.io team member doing so will be performing specific (audited) tasks on your behalf via our support desk.
You can request your data to be fully deleted by emailing us at hello@tagbox.io.
You can set different levels of permissions for your users, to make sure everyone has the exact access they need. Read more in our Help Center article. Enterprise users can enjoy enhanced security with custom Roles & Permissions as part of their custom plan.
We do not store any passwords in our database. Our authentication and authorization are handled by Google Firebase, a leading cloud services provider.

Following industry standards, each piece of data stored is associated with a tenant ID. All access to data is enforced to use a tenant ID key. Access to the data is strictly enforced to use tenant identifier so there's no leakage between clients.
All data is encrypted both at rest and while in transit.
