What’s new in Tagbox / face recognition

Congrats - searching for people in images just got a whole lot easier!

Here's what's new in Tagbox.io this month:

Face recognition

So many of you have asked us about adding face recognition so that you can easily filter by the people in the image without manually tagging them. Face recognition can be super helpful for social media marketing, organizing events, or basically taking any pictures with people in them.

To make it extra friendly, You can also name your key people so you can search for them in the main search, and merge faces in case the AI had issues identifying them because of bad lighting conditions.

Face recognition is currently supported for all image types, and we'll soon add support for videos as well.

Product Hunt win

After 6 months in open Beta, we officially launched Tagbox.io to the world on Product Hunt.

Your support and feedback were overwhelming, landing us not only the title Product of the Day, but Product of the Week as well.
